Elizabeth Davies is the director of Sound Harmony Chorus, director of the Seattle SeaChordsmen Barbershop Chorus, and a Certified Judge in the Singing Category for the Barbershop Harmony Society. She sang lead in the 2018 Region 13 champion quartet, "Liftoff!," and currently sings tenor in a mixed BHS quartet, "Impact."  When not singing or bossing other singers around, she enjoys writing articles about barbershop craft and history, including, "How to Lead a Warmup When You Don't Know What You're Doing" for the BHS Harmonizer, and "Toward a More Inclusive Sweet Adelines: Harmonizing the World in the 21st Century" for the Pitch Pipe magazine.  She has served on the faculties of Harmony College Northwest, Rocky Mountain Harmony College, Johnny Appleseed District Harmony College, BiNG Harmony College in Germany, and Harmony University.

She currently serves as Assistant Director for Sound Harmony Chorus (SAI) and the Seattle SeaChordsmen (BHS), and recently became a Faculty Development Specialist for Sweet Adelines Region 13.  She loves competitive quartetting and won the Region 13 quartet competition in 2018 as the baritone of "Liftoff!" quartet and currently sings tenor in a mixed BHS quartet, "Post-It Notes," and sings lead in a women's quartet, "4-Across."  She has a masters degree in teaching and teaches high school math and computer science, but is taking a break to b a stay-at-home mom.  She combines her skills as an educator and her love for barbershop when she serves as Faculty Training Advisor at Harmony University, and Harmony College Northwest.
