How did you find Sound Harmony Chorus?

My sister recruited me – great to spend time together, and with the group!

What do you love about singing barbershop?

I love the sound of four-part harmony – “joyful notes in a chord”.  No instruments (other than voice) required, so you have the freedom to sing anywhere.

What's your favorite song (barbershop or otherwise)?

I really liked our chorus song “You Don’t Know Me” and its barbershop arrangement.  That is my favorite today.

Describe a unique talent you have.

I love working with groups – the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do?

Start a foundation to begin to address the inequities we have in our society.

What was a goofy thing you did as a child?

I could stand on my head for a long time – my one athletic triumph (still can).

Any other fun facts?

Growing up I loved folk songs, and played guitar and sang those songs around many a camp fire.
