Out of Darkness is a dance and music performance focusing on Suicide awareness and prevention. We will also be hosting a silent auction during the show.

"More than 42,000 people die by suicide each year in the U.S. — one death approximately every 13 minutes. It is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. In 2015, 9.8 million U.S. adults aged 18 or older thought seriously about trying to kill themselves, including 2.7 million who made suicide plans and 1.4 million who made non-fatal attempts.

In Washington state, 1,111 residents died by suicide in 2014. That's nearly 15.9 deaths per 100,000 people, significantly higher than the national average of 12.93 per 100,000."* 

All of the profit from this show will go to Forefront, a charity through the University of Washington that focuses on innovations in suicide prevention. We hope to see you all there.
